Apart from several smaller buildings, the “Bunker” is the actual core of the CITA. A former fallout shelter with walls >3m thick, heavy pressure doors, and a multitude of monitoring and access equipment, the building with its multiple safety areas provides optimum protection against malicious impact or unauthorized intrusion.
With the exception of heavy-duty war action, all physical attacks can be warded off at the highest level. The exceptionally strong electromagnetic screening (> 80db) provides protection against cyber attacks with EMP weapons.

The building with its 5 levels is separated into 6 fire protection areas. Fire is extinguished according to safety relevance even across redundant systems with an extinguishing agent which, due to its mild cooling, prevents damage to data carriers. An early fire detection system with automatic power cut-off by protection areas prevents faulty deletions. Regular checks carried out by the responsible fire protection authority ensure high standards at all times.

The CITA is staffed 24/7, and direct connections to police, fire department and special services complete the security service. All service companies employed for infrastructural work are checked by us and have been cooperating with us for years. In security areas, we always keep to the “four-eye principle”.
